I will honour the trust placed in me by the client and maintain absolute confidentiality. I will give close attention to detail and tailor resources and exercises to each individual client. I will always act responsibly towards the client.

Autonomy

I will always be led by the client and not impose my own views, beliefs,personal morality or value system onto the client. I will always respect the client’s own systems, whilst challenging negative or limiting beliefs.

Duty Of Care

I will always seek the best for the client and never manipulate or cause harm. I will always share other sources of support which may benefit the client and never hang onto the relationship for the sake of money or personal gratification. I will shun any hint of sexual, emotional or financial exploitation.

Fair Treatment

I will respect the dignity and human rights of the client and be vigilant about equal opportunities within my practice. I maintain the right to charge clients on a sliding scale according to my perception of their ability to pay. I will be especially careful when dealing with sensitive issues of faith and spirituality.

Self Respect

• I will expect to be treated with respect by the client and will terminate the contract under the following conditions:
• The client fails to keep appointments
• The client does not pay as agreed
• The client does not complete agreed actions
• The client needs specialist help eg medical, legal, therapeutic.
• The client acts suspiciously or I suspect illegality
• The client is becoming dependent
• I consider that effective coaching has reached an end.

Conditions

• I will not accept the following clients:
• those under 21 years
• friends and relatives
• those needing therapy, medical or legal help
• those without the necessary commitment

Insurance

I have professional indemnity and Public Liability insurance in force through "Westminster Indemnity Ltd" - policy number. M4205/1707.

I will seek at all times to behave in a way which is professional and responsible. I will act with integrity and be accountable to the client.
